Lani Quentin is no killer. A Seeker agent of WRATH with one of the rarest superpowers, she’s chosen the work of secrets and shadows, and left the spotlight missions to others. Edmund Pyre has been Lani’s father-figure ever since he was assinged as her “Mentor” agent months ago. He has one job: keep the past from repeating itself, and keep Lani’s power out of the enemy’s hands. Neither of which he seems able to do.

After a routine scouting mission turns into a living nightmare, Lani and Pyre are tossed back into a storm of chaos neither expected to face again, and only one thing’s clear:
